About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website, run by Aashita Vedaherbs Private Limited, a private limited company incorporated in India with its registered office at 92/97, Patel Marg, Mansarovar, Jaipur 302020, Rajasthan, India (“we”, “us”).
The website is for businesses only. By using it or sending an order request, you confirm that you are 18 or older and acting on behalf of a business, and that you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
A catalogue, not a shop
The website shows the products we can supply and lets you put together an order request. Nothing is sold or paid for on the website, and you do not need an account. We reply to each request by email.
Order requests and when a contract is made
An order request is an invitation for us to quote. It is not an order and does not bind you or us. We may decline any request, for example if a product is not available in the quantity or specification you need.
A contract is made only when you accept, in writing, a quote or proforma invoice that we have issued in writing. That accepted quote, proforma invoice or sales contract sets out the product, specification, quantity, packing, price, Incoterm, payment, shipment and claims terms, and it prevails over anything on this website.
Prices and charges
The website charges you nothing. Sending an order request is free and creates no obligation.
Prices are given only in our written quote. A quote lists every charge we will invoice: the product, the packing, and the freight and insurance that apply under the chosen Incoterm. There are no hidden fees. A quote states how long it is valid; after that, prices may change because agricultural commodity prices and freight rates move.
Import duties, taxes and charges in your country are paid by the party the Incoterm assigns them to, which the quote makes clear.
Product information and specifications
- Botanical names, plant families and origins are given to identify products. HS headings are indicative; the final code is confirmed for each shipment.
- The specification you buy against is the one in the accepted quote or contract, together with the laboratory report for the specific lot. Agricultural products vary naturally from lot to lot; general descriptions on the website are not a specification.
- Product and scene images are illustrative. Many are generated with an AI image model and show illustrative people, not our staff or a particular lot.
- Samples are available on request before you confirm an order.
Incoterms and delivery
Delivery terms follow the Incoterms® 2020 rule named in the accepted quote (for example FOB, CFR or CIF). That rule decides where delivery happens, when risk passes to you, and who arranges and pays for freight, insurance and customs clearance. Shipment dates in a quote are estimates unless the contract states a fixed date.
No health or medical claims
Our products are agricultural commodities and raw materials for trade and further processing. They are not medicines and are not sold to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Nothing on this website is medical advice.
Traditional uses mentioned on the website describe how a plant has been used historically, not a claim about our product. You are responsible for the end use of what you buy, and for making sure it, its labelling and any claims you make meet the laws of the countries where you import, process or sell it.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate company, contact and shipping details.
- Hold any import licences, registrations or permits your country requires.
- Follow export-control, sanctions and import laws that apply to you and the goods.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- send false, misleading or automated order requests, or requests in someone else’s name;
- try to get around the form’s spam protection or rate limits, or overload the website;
- try to access the staff area, our systems or other people’s data without permission;
- scrape or copy the catalogue in bulk, or upload anything harmful or unlawful.
We may block access from anyone who breaks these rules.
Intellectual property
The website’s text, design, logo, product descriptions and images belong to us or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own business use when evaluating our products. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission. The fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.
Limitation of liability
The website and its content are provided free of charge, as they are, for information. We work to keep them accurate and available, but we do not promise that they are error-free or always online.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data, arising from your use of the website. Our liability for goods you buy from us is set out in the accepted quote or contract for that order.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud.
Links to other websites
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the website. A sales contract for a confirmed order may set its own dispute-resolution clause (for example arbitration); if so, that clause applies to the order.
Changes and general
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. The version in force when you send an order request applies to it.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions about these terms: veda@aashita.co.in.
