No payment on this website

We do not take any payment on this website, so there is nothing to refund for using it or for sending an order request. The website charges no fees of any kind.

Cancelling an order request

An order request is not an order. You can withdraw it at any time before you accept a quote, free of charge: reply to our email or write to veda@aashita.co.in with your order reference.

Quotes

A quote lists every charge we will invoice (product, packing, and freight and insurance under the chosen Incoterm) and states how long it is valid. You can let a quote lapse without any cost. See our terms for more.

Confirmed orders

Once you accept a quote or proforma invoice in writing, that document (or the sales contract based on it) sets the payment terms, the cancellation terms and any cancellation charges, and how and when a refund is made. We do not ask for any payment before you have accepted one.

Where a refund is due under those terms, we pay it by bank transfer to the account the payment came from, in the currency of the payment, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Quality claims

Every lot is shipped against the specification in the accepted contract, backed by the laboratory report for that lot. If you believe goods do not meet the agreed specification:

  1. Tell us in writing within 30 days of the goods arriving at the destination port or place named in the contract, quoting the order reference and lot number.
  2. Send photographs of the goods, packing and markings, and keep the goods in proper storage, unmixed and unprocessed, until the claim is settled.
  3. Support the claim with a test report on a representative sample, drawn by an independent surveyor or accredited laboratory, for the parameters in dispute.
  4. We compare that report with the lot laboratory report and any pre-shipment sample. If they disagree, the contract’s procedure applies, for example a joint test by an agreed independent laboratory.

If the claim is accepted, the remedy is the one set out in the contract, such as replacement, a credit note or a refund for the affected quantity. Claims are not accepted for differences within the agreed tolerances, for requirements not written into the contract, or for changes caused by storage, handling or processing after delivery.

Damage or loss in transit

Note any visible damage or shortage on the delivery receipt or with the carrier when the goods arrive, and tell us straight away. The Incoterm decides who holds the cargo insurance: under CIF we arrange it and will help you claim; under other terms the claim is made against your own insurance.
